Removing fuel subsidy will definitely affect our business and prices of goods and services will increase definitely, except the Government want us to starve they should removed the ban on Sunday trading.

We were planning to call on the government to lift the ban on this Sunday trading before the fuel subsidy issues arises. Looking at the current economic situation traders can no longer have the luxury to stay at home on Sunday. Besides it should be by choice whether we want to sale on Sunday or not. Sierra Leone is the only country in the world that has such policy in place. So in answering your question we the traders are calling on the government of Sierra Leone to lift this ban.
