The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), will this morning 5th June, 2023 officially commission its newly constructed Headquarter Building on Tower Hill in Freetown.

The official commissioning will be done by His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio.

The event was earlier scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023, but was rescheduled for today due to some administrative issues.

Earlier this month, the ACC had previously disclosed its plans to relocate from its current office at No. 3 Gloucester Street to the newly constructed Office Building at Tower Hill.

ACC Chief Commissioner, Francis Ben Kaifala said the modern office facility comprises four floors, featuring over 50 spacious office spaces and various amenities.

“It has been designed with accessibility in mind, accommodating individuals of all ages and disabilities, and includes a lift system, integrated ventilation systems, aesthetically pleasing ramps, and high-quality finishing”, he added.

ACC’s Director of Public Education and Outreach, Patrick Sandi said the event will take place on the premises of the newly constructed “Integrity House” at 9:00am at Tower Hill and that all invited guests are encouraged to attend and must be seated before the arrival of the president.

Mr. Sandi said: “This new edifice is located at Tower-Hill, in front of the House Parliament, and by the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

“Members of the public who wish to be part of the event will do so via live broadcast on AYV TV and all other television channels, and also via live ACC Facebook page and many other Facebook Channels and social media Blogs”.
