Maada Bio maintained the focus of his campaign to improve the health sector is a way of improving the human resources of the health. He further encouraged Kono people to focus on building their human resource owing to the fact that that there are limited diamonds in the district “What next for Kono people when their will be no diamond left?” Bio asked.

Fatima Bio stated that she was born in that hospital (Kono Government Hospital) and that her husband will always see Kono as his second home. She further explained that  much has been changed over the years in the hospital and that the donation is not much, but their deed is  to assure Kono people that they will do more if they are voted for in the forthcoming election.
