The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Referees Committee, has levied a month’s suspension on Referee Rashid Mohamed Conteh, for failing to award a penalty in favor of East End Lions Football Club in its last match against Bo Rangers.
SLFA’s Head of Media and Marketing, Ibrahim Kamara said after thoroughly reviewing video footages and all available evidence, the Committee determined that referee Rashid Mohamed Conteh made an incorrect decision by not awarding the penalty, which was classified as a human error (mistake).
