 He intimated that the ruling All People Congress party was not a competent political organization to handle  victims of the  said disaster, and to cater well  for the relatives of the victims, stating that  victims of the mudslide were not properly treated at the Connaught hospital mortuary.

According to him, following the tragic incident, the government claimed that it had enough body bags for dead bodies of the said disaster, but that there were dead bodies scattered all over the place at the Connaught hospital mortuary without body bags, on the day of the mass burial at Waterloo.

Commenting on the welfare of the relatives of those who perished in the mudslide and flood flash , the leader and chairman and the Alliance  Democratic Party, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray stated that  the of Sierra Leone government should take full responsibility of the relatives and survivors of the disaster , and that  government should also give one hundred Million Leones to each family head that were affected.

“We have enough money to take good care of ourselves. The government d should begging around with cap in hand to take of victims of the August 14 national tragedy that befell Sierra Leone,’ Kamarainba added

He went on to state that the government should stop digging out dead bodies from mount Sugarloaf community as most of the bodies had decomposed , coupled with the provision of  disinfectant  for  people living within the surrounding communities.
