President Julius Maada Bio has welcomed former President Ernest Bai Koroma back to Freetown and Sierra Leone, describing his return as an opportunity to strengthen national unity, peace and collective efforts towards a better future.
President Bio made the statement following the former President’s arrival in the country on Sunday, September 6, after an extended period outside Sierra Leone.
In a message shared after welcoming the former Head of State at State House, President Bio called on Sierra Leoneans to remain united and focused on the country’s progress.
