In the early hours of yesterday 29th October, 2019, the ACC’s Scorpion Squad arrested and detained the three accused staff, including the gentleman seen in the video processing the tourists, for further investigations.

According to reports, the Scorpion Squad was immediately invoked by the ACC Commissioner after reviewing the video on Monday night and it moved in and set up an intelligence perimeter around the Border crossing point at night.

The Squad then moved in with precision to arrest the said staff as they came in the morning for work after it has confirmed their identities and locations.

The suspects were transported to the Commission’s headquarters in Freetown by the ACC team stationed in Bo to answer for the shame and disrespect they have wanted to bring to the country and its people should the investigations confirm their alleged actions.

The ACC is currently taking steps to locate the Tour Bloggers so they can assist with the investigations and have the money taken from them refunded.

The Commission has issued a public appeal for countrymen and women to help locate the Bloggers so they can contact the ACC.

The Commission had assured the public that it will leave no stone unturned to help launder the image of the country and to hold corrupts responsible for their actions and crimes.
