The Principal of UMC Girls Secondary School Tankoro, Madam Tennema Kabbia in her submission appreciated the ACC for the timely educational session organized for her staff and pupils. She unearthed that the forum has broaden the knowledge of her staff and pupils on the activities of the commission and the role School Teachers and Pupils should play in fighting graft in the School sector. The Principal underscored that the School started in 2005 with a population of about One Thousand Four Hundred (1,400) but has drastically reduced to about Four Hundred and Four (404) due to the far distance that the school was relocated by Octea Mining Company Limited. She said most of the promises made by Octea mining Company limited were not fulfilled despite several moves been made by School. Among the Six (6) schools that were relocated  UMC Girls Primary and Secondary Schools, SDA Primary and Secondary Schools, God is Our Light Primary and Secondary Schools) only one school bus was provided. She informed the Commission that normal teaching Classes starts at 9:00am since the children had to struggle to the single Bus meant for the six schools. Although she is not collecting anything from the pupils and parents, but most parents she emphasized have removed and sent their children to other schools as the school is gradually falling. She appealed to the commission to come to their aid in salvaging the current situation. (https://hhcdropshipping.com)
