The monitoring exercise discovered multiple incidents of Spying through Mobile Phones with both internal and external support provided to pupils to enable them cheat during the exam. A few arrests were made and exhibits seized as well. The Scorpions remain on standby while intelligence and investigations teams continue to monitor and collect evidence and provide timely support to the WAEC Authorities.

Below is a student who was caught taking the exam with all answers being remotely provided to her through her mobile phone. It is believed that many have been cheating to pass using this method.
