The promotion according to the company’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Joe Abass Bangura is run on a daily basis right through its climax.

It could be recalled that Africell on 26th November 2019 launched the promotion that will run on till 27th December 2019 to give their subscribers the opportunity to win data bundles, talk time credit and star prizes of Twenty Million Leones daily.

Samuel Kai, a resident from Rutile in Moyamba district is one of the winners. He said he is a father of four and a photographer that has never had the opportunity to get hold of 20 million leones being his.

He went on to say he will be engaging his family on how to use the money, adding that he has been an Africell subscriber for more than 15 years now.

Morlai Koroma from Baw Baw is another winner. He said he is a shop owner with a small capital and that his winning will help him boost his business.

“When I was coming lot of people were discouraging me about the money saying it is a prank but now that I have seen the reality myself, I will walk home with pride and as a millionaire.” he added.

According to Joe Abass Bangura the uniqueness of this year’s promotion is that most of the winners have never won anything from Africell before. He said Africell is known for always having the ability to reach out to their subscribers, stating that subscribers will have the opportunity to win only if they recharge Le2,000 credit. Subscribers he said will have the opportunity to win Five Hundred Million Leones as the grand prize.
