A team comprising of television and radio technicians are currently at the Bintumani Conference Center at Aberdeen, testing whatever needs to be tested in order to ensure that the presidential debate goes on without any technical, electronic or electric hitch that would dent the conduct and credibility of this most-awaited and most spectacular presidential debate in the history of Sierra Leone politics and electoral process.

Expected at the venue apart from the presidential candidates and representatives of the various political parties would be Christian and Muslim clergy, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of civil society organizations, journalists, Members of Parliament, Paramount Chiefs, members, representatives of university student groups, a crop of secondary school pupils, women, youth and child activists, a section of traders, commercial drivers, farmers and other interest groups in addition to members of the national and international media.

The debate itself is being described by most Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad as the most important event taking place in Sierra Leone for decades.

Batteries of technicians from various media institutions and other technical and administrative staff are at the Bintumani Hotel, alongside interior designers, setting the stage, decorating the hall and putting every other needed gadget in place to make the Sierra Leone Decides 2018 Presidential Debate a very successful event.
