He went on to state that his leadership will provide much opportunity in ensuring that Kenema City gets what it deserves.

“I will not care about the Kenema City Council because they are narrowing the progress of the people,” he reiterated, adding, “I will make sure the people of Kenema City enjoy the purity of their nation.”

Giving an overview of the March 7, 2018 elections first round results, Dr. Kamara maintained that the votes cast during the elections do not reflect the views of their supporters when looking at the APC political rallies across the country.

Dr. Samura Kamara went further to say that there were lots of irregularities and malpractices during the first round of elections that made the APC party to secure the second position behind the Sierra Leone People’s Party.

According to Dr. Samura Kamara, his party secured one million and ninety seven thousand, four hundred and thirty eight votes (1,097,438), but that as a party, they have agreed with the National Electoral Commission cancellation of several polling stations across the country due to over-voting.

He reiterated that in Sierra Leone, which is a small democratic country with lots of values had over six hundred thousand (600,000) registered voters that did not vote; maybe as a result of poor terrain or far distances from polling centers which many people were unable to reach.
