The programme was organized to develop strategies on how to invest in women that have the potential to move the country forward especially the less privileged through scholarship and also providing support to their party.

The President of the APC-USA Women’s Wing emphasized the need for empowering women which according to her is a sacred obligation for any government that is yearning for development, while noting that part of the proceeds from the fundraising will go to girl child education while the rest will go to the APC party.

Madam Madina Rahman who represented President Ernest Bai Koroma  spoke of government commitment in empowering women by given them position of trust stating that she has no doubt in the diaspora wing of the party as their dedication and commitment to the party cannot be over emphasized.

Different people who witnessed the programme made meaningful contributions all geared toward rejuvenating the spirit of women to participate in national issues.

The event was climaxed as different speakers proffered ideas how to maintain the APC party in power.
