Reports say the colourful happening turned the entire city of Makeni into a dancing hall as hundreds of inhabitants abandoned their offices, homes, schools and places of work to assemble at the residence of the former president when news broke that the vice president had arrived at the Koroma’s family residence.

Despite onto press time last evening the purpose of the VP’s visit to the former president was still undisclosed, many say it may not be unconnected with the reinstatement of the former president’s state security.

The vice president, who was accompanied by the Resident Minister was said to have visited Mr. Koroma on the instructions of his boss, His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio.

Dr. Samura Wilson Kamara, former flagbearer of the All People’s Congress in the March 2018 elections was also in attendance during the maiden visit which came few days following last week’s visit of the former President of Liberian Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in effort to promote peace and togetherness in Sierra Leone.
