The Empire over the weekend finalized agreement with its partners for the debate, including the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), Media One Centre (Star TV, Star Radio and Standard Times newspaper) and Civil Society Organizations among others at the Brookfields Hotel in Freetown.

Apart from administrative arrangements, the AYV is boosting its network to allow for wider coverage by bringing in new transmitters and other equipment which would be installed across the country so that grey areas complaining of not receiving AYV radio and television signals would be connected in the shortest possible time. The areas which are to benefit include Goderich, Waterloo, Tonkolili, Kono and Kenema.

This is part of efforts of the AYV Media Empire to ensure widest coverage of the electoral process, leading to the elections on March 7, 2018. The equipments arrived at the AYV Media Empire in a 20 feet container.
