The shocking announcement was made at the Empire’s End of Year Retreat 2019 held last evening of Tuesday 17th December, 2019 at the Hill Valley hotel in Freetown.

The CEO announced Dr. Ezekiel Duramany-Lakkoh as the Managing Director (MD) of AYV to be deputised by Brigitte Dalton–Sesay; Samuel Wise Bangura moved from Director of News and Current Affairs to Director of Operations and Head of Projects replacing Stella Bangura; Antonia Howard now Director of News and Current Affairs, Training and Internship, to be deputised by Amadu Lamrana Bah, Salim Sahid Kamara and Phebean Swill respectively.

Habibul Munzir remains the Company’s Technical Director, Dennis Sylvester Davies is Director of Business Development, Stella Bangura is Director of Compliance, Branding, Administration and Quality Assurance, Barrister Janet Momoh is New AYV Company Legal Secretary and all other positions remain the same in the Company, these include print, finance, ICT, radio and others.
