 Consumer Protection Agency is a non-governmental organization that the primary mandate to educate, promote and protect the interest of all consumers. Since CPA was  established  the agency has been working assiduously to ensure that their mandate is well practiced and implemented.

The Sierra Leone Brewery Limited has been a key company that has been working hand in glove with the Agency by not only providing the necessary service for the people but work within the Agency’s mandates .

Ibrahim Kabia  President of the Sierra Leone Consumer Protection Agency  explained that CPA  recently conducted a survey on industries, taking into account the checklist of quality, quantity, environment, production ethics and corporate social responsibilities adding that  Brewery has not been found wanting in all those parameters the more reason  they decided to award SLBL a certificate of good work.

The Managing Director of the  Sierra Leone Brewery Limited Willy Alphonse Ngana described the ceremony as   a mile stone for the Company as over the years  Brewery  has been  listened to their consumers in relation to  tastes and preferences.

  He said they have been giving their consumers quality product of international standards and have won many awards locally and internationally.

 

Edward Komeh is the coordinator of the Consumer Protection Agency; he presented the event proposal to the Managing Director of Brewery and explained more on their mandate and plans for the fourth coming world consumer right day.
