The ambassador was received and taken on a conducted tour of the empire’s ultra-modern facilities by the company’s Director of Quality Assurance and Managing Editor AYV newspaper, Aruna Turay.

He also met with the President and CEO of the AYV, Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior, the Operations Director Stella Bangura and Deputy Managing Director and Human Resource Manager Brigitte Dalton-Sesay.

The Cuban ambassador said he was surprised to see a media institution in Sierra Leone owning such ultra-modern broadcast equipment with teams of very young and dedicated men and women. He encouraged the company’s staff to continue the good job, while assuring cordial relationship between the country’s media and Cuba.

The ambassador was taken on a tour on the empire’s well equip studios, newsroom, entertainment, IT and technical among other departments.
