Maya Kaikai maintained that it a good venture Fambul Tok embarked on as a way of consolidating the peace we are enjoying and that the ministry will work to ensure it maintain the activities for the aim of promoting peace and development.

Director of Fambul Tok, John Coker, said the formation of the committee was as a result of engagements held with district stakeholders were issues of lack of effective planning and implementation of projects or programs were highlighted.

John Coker Further stated that they have been working in the district for over years and the main thing that is lacking in the district is inclusive participation in any developmental projects in the district.

The Paramount Chief of Penguia Chiefdom, Sheku Gibrilla expressed optimism in the establishment of the committee stating that it will serve as an intermediary body between the people of the district and authorities in developmental projects.

PC Sheku Gibrilla stated that it was very difficult to engage the people of Kailahun District without linking developmental engagement and the establishment of the committee has created the platform to engage community stakeholders.
