She further explained that after the burial of Pa Robert Coker, according to the tradition of the Alton Secret Society which he headed,his son or grandson should succeed him as Head Man of the Jui village and Head of the Alton Secret Society.

She further explained that one month later, leaders of Jui Village and Alton Secret Society approached the relatives of Ezekiel requesting that he succeed his father as the Head Man of the village and the Argba of the Alton Secret Society.

During a special ceremony marking the Fortieth Day ceremony since the death of his father in January 2017, members of the Alton Secret Society grabbed Ezekiel and forcefully took him into their shrine for initiation and installation as the new Head Man and Argba of the society.

It is reported that three days after the abduction of Ezekiel, there was a big panic and disturbance among members of the secret society but the reason was not revealed to the community.

According to Ezekiel’s uncle, Pa Cole, he explained to this medium that their family is in serious disarray as they have still not been able to locate their son.

He maintained that they will not sit by and allow some very ancient tradition to wipe out their generation but they will use the appropriate channels in the country to seek justice.

He revealed that he has already consulted their family lawyer who is now working on ways to trace their missing son if he is still alive.

He stressed that he is appealing to members of the society to tell them the whereabouts of Ezekiel or inform them whether he is dead or alive.
