“This is just an interim care center; we serve as intermediary body between children and their parent or guardian, for limited duration. In our stay with the children, we always play the role of a foster parent by providing everything that meets the best interest of a child.  We always keep our children’s healthy especially those that will be reunifying with their respective parents or guardians.”  Sahr Yiaba stated.

He further pleaded with both parents and foster parents to take good care of the children. As he admonished them to considerably monitor the academic work and deeds of their respective children.

Matron, Love one another, Hawa Vandi called on the parent to continue to be disciplined, owing to the fact that the support of a child would be withheld if she/he did not meet the established academic and deeds criteria. As she explained that they normally render their continual support, even after the reunification process of children. She stated that due to that reason parent must be encouraged to step up and ensure that their children must be discipline for them not to be kicked out of the program.

Hawa Vandi stated that there are packages that they would be sending with the children as part of what they would be providing in the subsequent future when the children are with their parents or foster parents. she highlighted that there are school learning materials in the school bag, mattress, rice, and rub kettle to ensure the children did not miss the home, when they are gone.

Assistant Matron, Love One Another Rev. Josephine Baindu encouraged the parents to training the children in the path the Almighty God had prescribed for them, but not in their own way and that children should be guided in the manner they would grow to follow the word of God in other for them to be a better people in society.

Reunifying the children representative from Social Welfare Ministry, Mark Goba stated that the work of the ministry happened to be the safety of children and women and that was why they had been working with the Love One Another Foundation. He added that the ministry would also ensure the monitoring process, even when the children would be in their various communities.
