Nabeela arrived in Ankara on Thursday 15th August 2019 for a three-day-visit.

During this first foreign ministerial visit from Sierra Leone to Turkey, “steps to improve cooperation in various fields were discussed and views on regional issues were exchanged,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced in a statement.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu posted on Twitter that the Turkish government is ready to strengthen relationship with Sierra with projects in construction and agriculture,” Ready to give every support to the Embassy by #SierraLeone in #Turkey,” he Tweeted in May 2019.
