According to her , on the said date , the both of them went to the Aberdeen beach in the far west of Freetown , and whiles they were at the beach, she decided to go to the then popular night club called Q-Bar, on  the same Aberdeen beach.

She further narrated that she spent about two hours at the Q-bar, and later returned to a particular entertainment spot, where they normally converged and enquired about the whereabouts of the deceased to one of her friends called ‘water’, stating that water informed her that the deceased had crossed to the first accused entertainment centre.

The witness stated that she later went to family Kingdom, but that she left family kingdom around 4 am on the following day, and returned to their rendezvous, and also added  that upon her arrival at the their usual rendezvous,  which was just a few distance to first accused entertainment centre.

The second prosecution witness went on state that she later met water  ‘water ‘, but that since the police night patrol team was  conducting night frequent  raids around the beach, and if seen by the police they will be definitely arrested, as a result of that she explained that they hid themselves at a make shift structure very near the first accused entertainment spot .

She continued that whiles they were in hiding, she heard a loud voice similar to that of the deceased, calling for help and also shouting ‘you are killing me, you are killing me’ right inside the first accused entertainment spot, stressing that she immediately told her friend “water” that the voice from the first accused person entertainment bar was similar to that of deceased, Hannah Bockarie.

The witness said, after sometime, she never heard the voice of the deceased, and since she was very curious about the whole incident, she told “water” to get closer to the first accused entertainment bar to actually see, what the matter was, but that her friend water refused to go with her and went away.

She also disclosed that  while she was hiding at a certain local entertainment spot near the first accused entertainment centre, she  saw the first accused person coming out of his entertainment spot in a frightened mood.

As a result of this strange development, the witness said she sneaked out of the area where the alleged killing of Hannah Bockarie occurred, and informed a certain Mr Gandi about what she had observed, but that Mr Gandi did not take the matter serious and she decided to go home.

According the witness, on the following morning she learnt that  Hannah Bockarie was lying dead at the Aberdeen beach, and that when she heard about her demise , she reflected straight away on  what she had observed at the first accused entertainment spot on the that fateful night.

She stated that on the following morning, she saw police officers trying to convey the remains of the deceased, and that since she was afraid, she traveled to Gendema in the south part of Sierra Leone, until she later returned to Freetown, and made statement to the police in respect of the matter before the court.

The two accused , Mohamed Lamin Kamara and Paul Con were charged with the offence of murder, contrary to law, and the indictment indicated that both accused persons conspired with known individuals to murder Hannah Bockarie, at the Aberdeen beach in the west part of the country’s capital Freetown, on 13 August 2015.

The matter was adjourned to Monday, 3 April 2017.
