By the Public Relations and Media Unit, Kingho Investment Company

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive, Kingho Investment Company Limited, the parent body of Kingho Mining Company and Kingho Railway and Port Company has on Friday 13th August 2021, in Freetown, donated assorted stationery to the Congo Cross Police Station.

The police station in Congo Cross is a direct neighborhood of the company’s Headquarters in Signal Hill Road, Freetown, and thus the station provides security for all its operational communities.

The donation of assorted stationery materials, printers, printing cartridges and many more is part of the company’s CSR drive towards supporting its surrounding communities not only in its operational areas in the provinces but also the capital Freetown.

During the event which took place at the company’s Headquarters in Signal Hill Road, Freetown, Judith Kosseh, Director of Community Affairs in Kingho said that the company sees the security sector as a prominent partner in achieving its goals. She added that CSR project is at the heart of the company’s operations and that the company has been doing so much in that regard.

Mohamed Daffae, Human Resource Manager of Kingho Investment Company, whilst dilating on Kingho partnership with security arm towards achieving the goals of the company said that the robustness of security sector is what has created a safer investment atmosphere in the country.

Whilst receiving the donation, ASP Mustapha Gogra, Crime Officer, Congo Cross Police Station thanked the management and staff of Kingho Investment Company for the timely support. He assured of robust working relationship between them and the company and said it’s their duty as police officers to protect lives and properties and Kingho is no exception.

During her vote of thanks, Jacqueline Hong of the Admin Department said the donation is important to show Chinese-Sierra Leone partnership that will benefit all and sundry. She thanked everyone for attending the ceremony and expressed optimism that such will continue.

Meanwhile, the event was attended by staff of Kingho Investment Company, other police personnel of Congo Cross Police Station and the media. A presentation of the donated items was done by Derek Ding.
