Meanwhile, the source maintained that the former Ambassador at Large, who doubled as Foreign Affairs and Mines Minister, and also assumed various positions in the former administration, Alhaji Alpha Khan was blessed by Ernest Koroma to talk at Bintumani III, when the latter visited Mr. Koroma at his Makeni residence few days before the convening of Bintumani III.

It could be recalled that a very well circulated newspaper in Freetown carried (false) news indicating that the former president of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma had been placed under house arrest by the current government.

This (false) news received worldwide recognition but at the end of the day, it has been proved to be a very false, provocative and totally irrelevant piece of news.
