When she was appointed as Minister of Lands Country planning and the Environment, she attempted to demolished structures at disaster prone areas , but that she was frustrated discouraged by many people who taught that  she was doing the wrong thing.

 She has and would continue to play a great role towards victims and vowed to do her level best in the area of ensuring that the victims benefit from relief the donated items.

The compassionate minister faithfully promised to address the situation around lands and country planning in the country.
