In his address, Lawyer Kabaka stated that his mantra was giving back whatever little to those who deserve it and emphasized on the need educate children. He said he felt obliged to respond to the needs of these communities. Various speakers thanked the legal philanthropist for his kind gesture and asked others to emulate him.

Lawyer ABS Turay, thanked God for the power and provision to help others and assured that he appreciate the people so much as he is not a stranger to the water problems in the community. The people, he said must take up the venture on community development projects. “I always have the desire to join in community development,” Kabaka said, and went on to call on Elders in the community to value education for their children.

“You must ensure that children are in school and monitor their studies well. This will help in the transformation of the community,” the Young Philanthropist advised.

He commended those who worked well to complete the water project, and admonished all to be united and abide by the rules in managing the water facility. 

Abdul Malik Kamara former Chairman, who spoke on the role of Community Based Organizations in nation building, said Brobynians Development Organization started as a social club went through the ranks unto a Development organization. CBOs, he said have a role to play in national politics and contribute to the development of the state. “CBOs can serve as a pressure groups to the excesses of government. They can unite to identify the problems in the community and proffer solutions,” he said, and added that CBOs can bring unity amongst youths and support their growth for leadership.

Alpha Rashid, a Community Member said the new water facility will help the community greatly and assured that he is ready to join in the community development.

Councilor Abdul Karim Samura, commended the water project. He reiterated that  government needs to come in to support more development projects together with the private sector.

In Lawyer Kabaka’s company were six Sierra Leonean top artists, namely Markmuday, Rozzy, Blesz n Future and Krack Twist and Samza. These artists who are part and parcel of the Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment Label mesmerized the crowd with their acapellas.
