 Chairperson of the community Samir Hassanyeh extended appreciation to the vice president for his support and open door policy to the Lebanese community he further assured the vice president of their cooperation as a Lebanese community to the people of Sierra Leone. He pointed out that the community acknowledges what the country has  done for them and  adding that  they  will continues to be law abiding

Vice president Victor Foh in his address  to the Lebanese community  stated that Lebanese  holds  the key to the country ‘s economy , he further stated that the Lebanese are law abiding, and  and  cautioned them to work together and not to see themselves as enemy he further caution them to stay at peace with each other and stop the impasse among themselves . He further appealed to the Lebanese who has sierra Leoneans as employee to treat  them well . He affirmed that they as government are on serious dialogue with  regards to the high rate of tax payment.’’ I know what so ever we do as a  government  be it good or bad will reflect on our people’’ vice president  Foh said  he Admonished  the government to respect the press  adding that  anyone who  does not respect the press is heading for failure.

The Minister of trade Alhaji Alieu patsowe said that the situation in sierra Leone during the Ebola is nothing to write home about , but the Lebanese didn’t turn their back on sierra Leoneans and even in mist of austerity the Lebanese people are still with sierra Leonean, he encourage the Lebanese community to continue to invest in the country’s  economy and continue to be each others  keeper
