Police say on May 2018, the survivor and her colleagues were used to visit the accused person’s compound to fetch water and also watch movies.

The ugly incident went on until one day the survivor’s father someday noticed that her daughter has been lavishing money which he did not know the source. The father instituted an investigation of the source of the girl’s wealth.

Whiles on his investigations, in January this year, the survivor went missing at home and her father alerted neighbors who helped to mount a serious search for her.

The same day, the girl’s slippers were found at the accused person’s house and the father reported the matter to the Bo Central Police Station, using the girls slippers found at the accused person’s house as evidence.

Police report states that the accused person attempted to escape, but was later arrested by the police where he finally confessed that he had been sexually abusing the girl for close to ten months now, but that he was interested in marrying her.
