The urge for the deputy minister to apologise to the mayor came shortly after the deputy minister made a public bluff on Radio Democracy 98.1 FM yesterday morning that he does not regret his widely condemned outburst against mayor. (https://elitetrainingcenter.net/)

In as much as most people believed the minister was determined to carry out his work judiciously because he needs to protect his job, others also believed  the mayor was very determined to ensure proper accountability to prevent any doubt that could lead to scandal and subsequent investigations.

However, Sierra Leoneans on social media have and are still condemning the action of the deputy minister against the mayor.

According to an audio clip circulated on social media, the mayor’s office was in constant communication with the cleaning coordinating office until it was unceremoniously cut: an indication for under current, which resultant effect altercation, wherein the deputy minister allowed his personal feelings coupled with emotions to overcome his actions and became very discourteous to his office, the office of the mayor and the government, thereby being portrayed in a bad light.
