He reproached the gathering to renounce from diffusing unconfirmed messages about the President, party and other stakeholders of government.

The Vice President went on to state that the APC party is united and is a one family party that shares an inimitable value and strong spirit of comradeship among themselves. This spirit, he maintained, was admirable of the existing warmth and firmness of purpose they share as a party.

He called on all APC members to continue to work harder for the party as they will reap what they have sowed, adding that his party, the APC, rewards hardworking members. He urged all hardworking party members to be patient as the party will recognize them and their hard works.

He concluded by thanking the people of Bombali district for giving a mammoth welcome to their son and brother and for appreciating the President in appointing Mr. Kamara as Attorney General and Minister of Justice.

The newly appointed Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara, in his statement, thanked His Excellency for giving hima dignified position which many believe came as a result of his outstanding performance as the country’s Anti Corruption boss.

He promised and assured the President and people of Sierra Leone that he is going to work in the interest of the people and helps promote the government’s agenda for prosperity.

The Chairman of the August gathering thanked His Excellency for appointing such a shrewd and result oriented Sierra Leonean as Attorney General and Minister of Justice.

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Chernoh Ramadan Maju Bah assured that the former ACC boss can prove very instrumental in the discharge of his new mandate as the country’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice.

Other Ministers present shared the same view in the statements and join in thanking the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for appointing the former ACC Boss as Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
