He departed this earth on the 12th April 2017. He was survived by his father Prince Wilfred Bankole-Gibson in the USA and mother Wilhemina Nduka Reffel in Freetown. There will be a Candle Light procession on Monday 24th April, 2017 at 7pm from the Nursing school, Lightfoot Boston Street to Miatta Conference Centre, following by a Vigil service at 8pm. There will be a Laying out Ceremony on Tuesday 25th April 2017 at the Miatta Conference Centre from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm.
