Leading the delegation was Speaker of the Gambia Parliament Hon.  Abdulai Bojan, Hon. Samba Jalloh Minority Leader, Hon. Zata Majority Leader, Hon Tombo Hon. Amadu Kanu, Hon Mbai, Hon. Abdulai Chairman Foreign Affairs Committee, Hon. Chernor, Hon. Hon Kelfala, Hon Mohamed and others.

In his welcoming, Hon. SBB Dumbuya announced that some members of the delegation are very senior members of the Pan African Parliament and disclosed that they were very instrumental when he (Speaker) first entered the PAP by way of guidance.

Hon. SBB Dumbuya recalled that; “The election of Dr. Bernadette Lahai as Deputy Speaker of PAP was a closely fought contest, “I want to commend the Gambia delegation for their total and absolute support unlike the other delegates,” singling out three members of the delegation for their unflinching role. The Speaker of Sierra Leone Parliament however explained that Sierra Leone delegation also gave unqualified support for the election of Hon. Jata as the Chairman of the Western caucus of PAP.

Hon. Dumbuya however credited the good bilateral and close diplomatic ties between Sierra Leone and The Gambia and promised for it strengthening and  continuation and later disclosed that the delegation will be holding discussions the next day  with the Leadership of Parliament as per the purpose of the visit.
