“I have been accepted for enrolment into Portsmouth University in England to pursue my dream to become a Swimming Doctor but since I was accepted I am still looking for funding. I need about Sixty Million Leones to go through the Course and this amount is required to be paid before the end of January 2018” Jalloh said.

She went on to say: “This is a very good opportunity for me, an opportunity which I will be using in turn to help my country.”

She said because Sierra Leone does not have swimming doctors, sportsmen and women have been finding it very much difficult to cope with international standards when they are scheduled for international swimming competitions.

It can be recalled that Binturabie Jalloh has represented Sierra Leone in so many international swimming competitions and these include the just concluded 2016 Rio Olympic in Brazil as she is unarguably the fastest Sierra Leonean swimmer.
