According to the Human Resource Manager Seawright Mining, Sia Josephine Aruna, informed her audience that this is the second such payment to the Land Owners on whose lands they have been conducting exploration for four years now.

She disclosed that Seawright Mining focuses on exploration for diamond and gold, noting that they perform their corporate social responsibilities regularly, adding that supporting education initiatives in the chiefdom is also a project they are looking at.

Responding, the Paramount of Nimiyama Chiefdom in the Kono District, George Bockarie Torto III commended Seawright for fulfilling their duty by paying the compensation as agreed.
