Report reaching AYV states that the Assistant Coach for the national team Leone Stars; Musa Kallon and Leone Stars Welfare Officer Junior Lawson have been sent on indefinite suspension after the two went into blows during a training session. The act by both officials of the national team came as a surprise to many fans.

The incident happened during the national home-based football training for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, at the Sierra Leone Football Association Academy at Kingtom.

According to Ibrahim Kamara, the media contact for the Sierra Leone Football Association, the two have been suspended indefinitely and the FA will set up an investigating committee to probe into the professional misconduct of the two men and present its findings in a report to the FA.

According to Musa Kallon in a phone interview with AYV, the decision by the FA to suspend them is unfortunate. He also said that his suspension was single-handedly done by Christopher Kamara the General Secretary of the Sierra Leone Football Association.
