Secondly he went on, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray was also harassed and invited to the CID and detained for several weeks only to be freed and all charges dropped.

He said Dr Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella was also invited by the Sierra Leone Police for allegedly having pepper spray and the outcome of that case is still unknown.

Songa went on that a former flagbearer aspirant of SLPP Dr. Alie Kabba was also invited and sent to the maximum security prison and to date, the outcome of that matter is pending.

He said on 27 April 2015, whilst SLPP was celebrating it anniversary, the former National Women’s Leader of SLPP Madam Lulu Sheriff was arrested within the perimeter fence of SLPP and detained and that this matter is still pending.

“You can also recall on 15th August 2013, that our Flagbearer for 2012, Julius Maada Bio’s home and office were searched for allegedly having arms and ammunitions which were never found. He was also at the receiving end of the APC political violence where he sustained serious head injury and to this day nothing has come out of that unfortunate incident” Songa noted.

This pattern of behavior he went on has the tendency to cause panic and unrest in the country, while calling on the international community to immediately intervene and put a stop to the ugly development.
