The Executive Director David Panda-Noah, who led the operation, said that Waterloo Masiaka highway has become notorious for lawless in transport sector but this time around he said, the administration will do everything possible to put an end to it.  The executive director said he has held series of meeting with stakeholder but all the meeting have not yielded any dividend. He promised to continue with the operation until safety is restored on the road. Many observers described the operation as very successful and call on the authority to continue.

The vehicles apprehended were  for  various offences ranging from failing to affix current vehicle license, using vehicle other than its intended purpose, driving without valid driver license, misuse of garage plate,  carrying goods and passengers,  defective light , carrying excess passengers,  defective windscreen, using an unauthorized  route, smooth tires to name a few.

The chairman Board of Directors SLRSA, Sheikh M. Bawoh commended the management of RSA for the operation and assured of the board’s support.

Addressing the enforcement team, passenger, driver and bystanders, the resident minister North West, Madam Isata Abdulai witnessed the operation and commended the Executive Director for the exercise.

Some government vehicles were among the vehicles that were apprehended.
