He called on members to embark on developing social development projects that will effect change in the communities.

“It good that we are now together, that can help us strategies to support our communities, it should not be just about outing, party, and shows. It time we change the face of social club perception in the country.” Sidi Mansaray stated.

The Chairman of the Social Clubs Union, Santigie Koroma highlighted that they will encourage all members to supporting each other and that the union would be supporting school going children and the community as a whole.

Santigie Koroma stated that they have been referred to as drunkards by so many people and that it about time for them to contribute meaningfully to the development of their various communities.

The Guest Speaker at the ceremony, journalist Ibrahim Samura called on members of the union to be united as way of changing the face of social club. He pointed out that union members should be dedicated to design project that could address social needs at local level.

“This union should be able to bring change to their community by designing project that will effect change. I am encouraging you all to be united if the union is to be successful.” Ibrahim Samura added.
