Key amongst the development plans outlined to bring this proposed idea to fruition is the tourism and cultural development plan which is to transform the present dance troupe to a Modern Art Gallery and Training Centre and a Cultural village along the Peninsula which is designed with adequate facilities to house inmates of the dance troupe.

Madam Sesay urged for cooperation among stakeholders as according to her the tourism sector is top priority on the agenda for prosperity as it is evidently captured in pillar one.

The ministry, she said, will fly the flag of Sierra Leone high by ensuring that the nation regains its glory in the sector as one of the best tourist destination in the sub region.

The management of the tourist board received high commendation from the minister.
