During the discussion, SLRA Director of Finance, the CEO of Road Maintenance Fund Authority (RMFA) and SLRA Acting Director General, were drenched in an argument over the 3.7 billion Leones; allocated to SLRA through RMFA for brushing and other actives nationwide.

As the discussion advanced, Honourable Sualiho Koroma, the SLPP Member of Parliament representing Constituency 67 in the Bo District, expressed concern over the disagreement of the institutions regarding the manner in which they implement projects and money allocated to the SLRA.

He said the two institutions have fundamental problems and that they are misleading the general public and the Committee.

Chairman of the Committee, Honourable Kombor Kamara said, they discovered a lot of misunderstanding during their respondents’ submissions, and as a Committee, they will be having a round table discussion with the two institutions.
