The accused, Ernest Brewah Jnr aka Small Vamboi is alleged to have stabbed to death 26-year old  Ibrahim Tarawallie of 6 Benjamin Lane in Freetown on 6th September 2017 at Valley View via Fergusson Street Freetown, Contrary to the Offences Against the Persons Act of 1861.

According to the charge sheet, it was one Alpha Jalloh of 18 Benjamin Lane who reported the alleged Murder incident to the Central Police Station before the mortal remains of late Ibrahim Tarawalie was transferred to the Connaught Hospital Mortuary.

When the matter was mentioned before Magistrate Moody, the Associating Counsel, Lawyer H. M. Gavoe submitted that he has observed some lethargic attitude on the part of witnesses listed on the charge sheet that should testify in respect of the alleged matter case.

Lawyer Gavoe informed the court that the charge preferred against the accused is very serious and witnesses should not treat it with a wave of the hand.

He applied for a Supheona for two witnesses, Besiem Barrie and Mafereh Conteh who were supposed to have testified but they were conspicuously absent in court.

This prompted the presiding magistrate to order the prosecution to supheon the two witnesses. The accused was defended by Francis B. Conteh. Magistrate Albert Moody has adjourned the matter to Thursday 12th October 2017 for further hearing.
