National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Cornelius Deveaux told this medium that the party has not reached a decision yet on the concerns being received from some of its members but that the party’s leadership is very much concern about the conduct of Hon. Mohamed Bangura.

For his part, Hon. Mohamed Bangura said since he joined the APC, he has carried himself in a manner that represents the party. He said he is not oblivious that some members within the APC are not happy with him since he joined the party, but that will not stop him from representing the people who voted him as a parliamentarian.

Hon. Bangura went on to say he is not a kindergarten politician in Sierra Leone and that he understands politics and will continue to play by the rules of the party until otherwise.

Sources intimated this writer that some members of parliament are being influenced by some party stalwarts to peddle fake news and attack the personality of Hon. Bangura.

Hon. Mohamed Bangura is a Member of Parliament representing the people of Karene District in the northern part of Sierra Leone under the ticket of the APC. He was Sierra Leone’s Minister of Information and Communications in the former Ernest Bai Koroma led APC Cabinet.
