He said X-ceed believes that by educating the future leaders their community stands the chance of being developed in a near future.

A good number of school going children in the community the president went on, have not been able to push through with their education due to lack of financial support from their parents or guardians.

He said X-ceed want to make sure that it invests in the future of the community’s future leaders and start to improve the country’s future beginning with Goderich.

President Kamara went on to reveal that his organization has been supporting children in the community for the past seven years now but on small scale than this year’s scholarship award.

He said it was the good academic performance of past beneficiaries of the scholarship that has encouraged the organization to increase the scholarship to 110 beneficiaries this year.

Parent of one of the beneficiaries, Mamie Koroma whiles expressing thanks and appreciation to X-ceed Family said she is a single parent of two twins and that her husband died just three weeks after she gave birth to the twins.

She said since then, she has been going through difficulties to meet the upkeep of these twins and their elder brothers and sister, especially with meeting the educational cost of the elderly children.

Upon receiving the scholarship she expressed gratitude to the organisation and pleaded that they continue with the good work of thinking and caring for the poor.
