The charges proffered against the two convicts, Alfred Desmond Semion Koroma, Amadu Mansaray and Kebbie Conteh who pleaded not guilty, indicated that they conspired with other persons unknown to broke and enter into the store of the Complainant, Rugiatu Sesay and stole therein large quantity of valuable items.

According to the particulars of offence, they stole therein fifty one bundles of school bags, assorted mobile phones, one hundred and forty four body sprays, four bicycles, one KVA generator, dining chairs and other valuable items, valued at four hundred and sixteen million, eight hundred thousand Leones.

They were arrested on the 7th August 2018 and subsequently charged to court for the said offences, after sufficient admissible evidence was adduced against the two convicts in the lower court, before the matter was committed to the High Court for trial.

The two convicts, Alfred Desmond Semion Koroma and Amadu Mansaray has started serving their jail term at the Male Correctional Centre at Pademba Road in Freetown, whiles accused Kebbie Conteh who pleaded not guilty to offences charged, will  re- appear before Hon. Justice Alusine Sesay next week.

The State was represented by barrister V.E.A. Kabbia from the Law Officers; Department, whiles both convicts, Alfred Desmond Semion Koroma and Amadu Mansaray were defended by lawyer Morrison Karimu from the Legal Aid Board.

The matter was adjourned to Tuesday 28th May this year for the trial of accused Kebbie Conteh.

Meanwhile, one George Blackie has on Thursday 23th May 2019, pleaded guilty to the offence of Larceny before Hon. Justice Manuela Harding of the High Court of Sierra Leone, which negates Section (2) of the Larceny Act of 1916.

The state claimed that the accused person, George Blackie stole one motor bike with registration number; 082 property of Ibrahim Fofanah.

He is also alleged to have committed the said offence on 27th December 2018 within the Freetown Judicial district in the Western Area of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The accused person, George Blackie was committed to stand trial in the High Court of Sierra Leone by the lower court, after sufficient and convincing evidence was adduced against him in respect of the matter under adjudication.

Hon. Justice Manuela Harding adjourned the matter to 29th May 2019 for judgment.
