The move is part of the Bank’s strides to support the Government of Sierra Leone build a stronger economy is working assiduously in taking the lead to reach the unbanked with appropriate products.

To further demonstrate this commitment, the Bank over the years had invested immensely towards the digitalization of the Bank.

‘Mi Yone SLCB Kiosk’ is a digital non-brick and mortar banking solution that is designed specifically to target the unbanked population and increase our access points to drive financial inclusion in the country.

The solution is based on a ‘MI Yone SLCB Teller’ assisted model wherein the banking application on a mobile handset/tablet is used by a cashier within or outside our kiosks or branches to facilitate account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, give out mini statement, balance enquiry, cheque deposit, funds transfer, Salonelink money transfer  and lots more. This will enable the Bank to increase penetration of basic banking services to the doorstep of the people and our numerous customers.

The Kiosks at Wilberforce and Adonkia started operations immediately after the launch yesterday.
