Ahmed S. Koroma and John Kamara scored in the 26th and 87th minute to change the story of Area Best FC for the first time as they were on the score sheet for Area best FC. Speaking to this medium Ahmed S. Koroma commonly called (LOLO) who was also man of the match said it was a dream come true to defeat Wusum stars FC he said they work very hard and prepared well to play Wusum stars and not to lose their second match in the competition as they lost 1-0 in the hands of Katara FC of Rokupr Kambia district last weekend he said Wusum stars FC is a very good team which he has so much respect for but that the game of football if one make good use of his chances he will surely win Koroma said
According to the head coach of Area best Alpha Lamin (Diego Semione) said this is hard work and preparation and that Wusum Stars is not an easy side to defeat because they have quality players. Coach Lamin said his intention is to reach the finals of the EBK trophy after been absent from the competition for two years now.
Head coach of Wusum Stars FC Abdul Raman Turay (Agina) said the defeat was due to defensive blonder and that he has learned a lot out of the match and he is going back into the drawing board to prepared his side for the next match he call on all fans of Wusum Stars to courage as there more matches to play and assured his fans of qualifying to the next stage of the competition.
