The witness continued that the second accused person, Almamy Turay was also carrying a cutlass and was part of the evaders that forced their way into his office and carted with ‘Ghana must go’ bag containing the sum of twenty six  million , eight hundred thousand Leones  including mercury tickets worth over tem million leones.

Edmund Genda further testified that it after the alleged hoodlums had stormed mercury offices and stole huge amount of money, they fled the scene of crime but they were later nabbed by the community people, whiles trying to escape.

He stated that the other two accused persons, Almamy Conteh and Alusine Kamara were among the other accused persons that attacked his office on 10 May 2017, and when the first accused, Ibrahim Bangura was knocked down by the community people, he met blood oozing from his head, but no money was found on him.

The concluded that the accused persons snatched the said AK47 riffle from a security guard attached to mercury office there, which they used to rob him and further creating a state of pandemonium in the entire environment.

Since the commencement of the preliminary investigation into the alleged robbery matter, none of the accused persons have been legally represented in court. The State was represented by J. M. S. Bull.
