The West Africa Youth Award is an annual event which is geared towards perseverance and community development skills of West Africa Youth.

According to Navo, it is a great honour for the country for him to bag such an award for his developmental work.

Love for young people, perseverance and hard work according to Navo are the secret of his achievement, adding that one should have a focus and positive mind-set instead of focusing on criticism coming from people.

“‘My plan is to go across Africa; we must challenge the Ghanaians, we must challenge the Nigerians, we must challenge the South Africans”, said the Ambassador.

It can be recalled that the Confederation of West African Youth also recently awarded President Navo as Most Influential Person of the Year Sierra Leone.Over 200 influential business leaders, politicians, youth leaders, government ministers, innovators, entrepreneurs and other professionals from all walks of life in sixteen West African countries who converged in Sierra Leone’s capital, Freetown where the ceremony was held.

Navo is the Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer and Sole Financier of Sierra Leone’s leading multimedia institution that employs over 470 young people across the country and beyond.

His recognition is not unconnected to his contributions to changing the narrative of young people in the country.

He has created a platform that influences change in society. With his business establishments in and out of Sierra Leone, he has made influential Sierra Leoneans, especially young people who can now make boast of having platforms to influence change and hold authorities accountable.
