Welcoming the Ambassador and team to AYV after a conducted tour of the Empire’s facilities, Managing Director of AYV, Anthony Lungaho thanked her for visiting the Empire. He took the visitors through a video documentary on the past and present history of AYV.

Also welcoming the US team, President and CEO of AYV, Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior explained the constraints he faced before getting AYV to the position it now stands in the country’s media landscape.

Speaking on behalf of AYV partners and advertisers, CEO of Africell, Shadi Al-Gerjawi thanked the Ambassador and team for visiting AYV. He said they as partners and advertisers have been enjoying a perfect partnership relationship with AYV. Shadi went on to assure that they will continue doing business with the Empire, while referring it to a real home of credible, factual and balance news reporting.

“When it comes to news business in Sierra Leone, if it is not AYV news then it is no news” Shadi Al-Gerjawi concluded.

On behalf of the Board of Directors AYV Media Empire, Madam Miriam Conteh-Morgan thanked the Ambassador and team for choosing to visit AYV. She assured of the Board’s continued hard work to ensure that the Empire continues to grow.

Speaking on her visit, Ambassador Maria Brewa expressed happiness for the sweet welcomed accorded her and her team upon their arrival to AYV Media Empire. She said she had been following AYV radio and television and also reading its newspaper from which according to her she had been well informed with credible, factual and balanced news happening.

The ambassador congratulated AYV for what she described as a sparkling performance before, during and after Sierra Leone’s past general elections. She further encouraged AYV to continue the good work whiles assuring her embassy’s support towards promoting the Empire affairs.
